Gripped by Fear?
Is the fear of loss or potential pain keeping you from moving forward? What about the fear of failure? Or the fear of repeating prior mistakes?
If that’s you, you’re not alone. Most of us experience those fears. Sometimes they are so consuming that we won’t even allow ourselves to go forward in life. Hey, if we do nothing, we can’t mess it up, right?
“God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind.” And honestly, it’s not about us anyway. It’s about the will of God and what He has for us that’s important.
It’s very easy to forget that fear is just a tool of the enemy to make us miss our mark, especially when we’re in the midst of it. But if we keep our focus on God and follow His leading, He will direct us. We have to know Him to hear His leading!
Use the verses below to help you get to know Him better. And trust that God’s got everything under control! His love never ceases!

The LORD is my light and my salvation– so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. (Isaiah 41:13, NIV)

The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” (Hebrews 13;6, NLT2)
