Am I Good Enough to get into Heaven?
Can you really know during your lifetime if you will be allowed into Heaven after you die? To determine if you are good enough to make it to Heaven, take a look at the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) and see how well you have followed them. Why is being a good person not enough to get you into heaven?
This is the proverbial million dollar question because if you ask anyone on the street what you have to do to get into heaven (assuming they believe in heaven or an after-life), the overwhelming response will be some form of “being a good person.” Most, if not all, religions and worldly philosophies are ethically based. Most believe getting to heaven is a matter of being a good person—following a set of rules. But is this what Christianity teaches?
