Proverbs on Insight

Proverbs 1:5-7a

Let those who are wise listen to these Proverbs and become even wiser. And let those who understand receive guidance by exploring the depth of meaning in these Proverbs, parables, wise sayings, and riddles. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.

Proverbs 2:3-5

Cry out for insight and understanding. Search for them as you would for lost money or hidden treasure. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God.

Proverbs 3:21-23

My child, don’t lose sight of good planning and insight. Hang on to them, for they will fill you with life and bring you honor and respect. They keep you safe on your way and keep your feet from stumbling.

Proverbs 7:4

Love wisdom like a sister; make insight a beloved member of your family.

Proverbs 8:14

Good advice and success belong to me [Wisdom]. Insight and strength are mine.

Intelligent people are always open to new ideas. In fact, they look for them.
